We are seeking a highly experienced Writer to join our Tamil Lifestyle team. The ideal candidate will bring 10-12 years of professional writing experience, including substantial time spent in print media, and possess a strong background in lifestyle journalism.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing, editing, and curating high-quality lifestyle stories across categories such as health, fashion, food, travel, relationships, and culture.
  • Ideating fresh and trending story concepts that resonate with Tamil readers.
  • Adapting long-form print media sensibilities into digital-friendly storytelling formats.
  • Collaborating with the editorial team to maintain the highest quality and accuracy standards.
  • Ensuring stories are optimized for digital platforms without compromising authenticity and creativity.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of producing engaging, reader-friendly, and impactful content, and will be able to demonstrate their expertise in the following areas:

  • 10-12 years of experience in journalism/content writing.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in covering the lifestyle beat (print or digital).
  • Prior work experience in print media is mandatory.
  • Exceptional command over Tamil language (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of audience preferences in lifestyle content.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining creativity and originality.

Education

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
