Job Overview

The role of a Client Interfaces Developer at SAP offers an exciting opportunity to work on designing, implementing, and maintaining various modules within client interfaces. As part of our team, you will strive for continuous improvement, manage the product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive user experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, document, and maintain various modules within client interfaces.
  • Own the long-term health and stability of the client interfaces drivers.
  • Identify areas of improvement to the current design and advocate for alternative methods to enhance the current working set.
  • Innovate, file patents, and generate IP for SAP.
  • Provide alternative diagnostic methods to resolve both in-house and customer-reported problems.
  • Work with engineering teams in different geographic locations to design, debug, analyze, and resolve complex problems for customers and SAP internal stakeholders.
  • Interact with critical customers around the globe and work towards resolving escalations.
  • Articulate technical information clearly.
  • Provide training and assist on knowledge transfer.
  • Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs, and estimate the effort required to complete projects.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree from a top-tier educational institute with 2-6 years' work experience.
  • Good knowledge of database architecture and possess analytical skills.
  • Experience in designing, architecting, and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently, taking initiative to prioritize and resolve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.

Tech Requirements

  • You have a strong knowledge of C, C++, Java programming languages with strong debugging skills.
  • Experience working on Windows and Linux.
  • ODBC/JDBC concepts, knowledge of SQL concepts will be a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like python, perl, php, NodeJS will be a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, NPM, maven/ant is good to have.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
