About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Software Developer to join our team. As an integral member of our ASE Database team, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining various modules within our client interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, document, and maintain various modules within our client interfaces.
  • Strive for continuous improvement, manage the product lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive user experience.
  • Own the long-term health and stability of our client interfaces drivers.
  • Identify areas of improvement to the current design and advocate for alternative methods to enhance the current working set.
  • Innovate, file patents, and generate IP for SAP.
  • Provide alternative diagnostic methods to resolve both in-house and customer-reported problems.
  • Work with engineering teams in different geographic locations to design, debug, analyze, and resolve complex problems for customers and SAP internal stakeholders.
  • Interact with critical customers around the globe, through calls, etc., and work towards resolving escalations.
  • Articulate technical information clearly.
  • Provide training and assist on knowledge transfer.
  • Prioritize tasks, develop detailed designs, and estimate the effort required to complete projects.
What You'll Bring
  • B.Tech. or M.Tech. degree from a top-tier educational institute with 2-6 years' work experience.
  • Good knowledge of database architecture and possess analytical skills.
  • Experience in designing, architecting, and developing scalable services utilizing micro-service architecture.
  • Able to multi-task and work independently and take initiative to prioritize and resolve problems.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Technical Skills Required
  • Strong knowledge of C, C++, Java programming languages with strong debugging skills.
  • Experience working on Windows and Linux.
  • ODBC/JDBC concepts, knowledge of SQL concepts will be strong plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like python, perl, php, NodeJS will be a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, NPM, maven/ant is good to have.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.
