Job Description

As a seasoned Data Engineering Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of technical projects in data engineering and analytics. Your cross-functional teams will execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives with precision and speed.

You will lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and report status to stakeholders. Your project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies will be key to success.

Collaboration is key as you work with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics. Familiarity with cloud data platforms and proficiency in project management tools is a plus.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Leading daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reporting status to stakeholders
  • Collaborating with teams, managing vendors or external contractors when applicable, and ensuring all technical documentation is current
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and excellent communication skills
