Patent Specialist Role

Our organization is seeking a skilled Patent Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of intellectual property law.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Draft high-quality patent applications for inventions in the field of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), adhering to international standards and regulations.
  • Deliver prosecution projects by crafting strategic responses to office actions and drafting comprehensive replies.
  • Develop well-structured claim sets and create provisional specifications for patent applications.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to team members on various technical areas, including mentoring interns and directing colleagues on drafting and/or prosecution work.
  • Apply process knowledge to ensure consistent, high-quality results in assigned tasks, such as creating and supporting processes for client deliverables and talent development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering/technology from a reputable institution.
  • Exceptional domain expertise in ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
  • At least 4 years of experience in patent drafting and/or prosecution, with at least 2 years of experience in patent drafting for the US jurisdiction.

Expertise in drafting over 50 patent applications for the US domain is highly desirable.
