About the Role

As a compassionate Mental Health Specialist, you'll play a vital role in assisting individuals experiencing distress and promoting their overall well-being. We're seeking a skilled professional who can collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assist users who have experienced abuse, mental health issues, or trauma on voice and non-voice platforms (calls and chats).
  • Conduct comprehensive user assessments, evaluating symptoms, identifying risk factors, and formulating customized plans.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for individuals in distress, including assessing for safety, facilitating de-escalation, and coordinating referrals for further care if necessary.
  • Educate clients and their families about rights violations, mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources available to support their well-being.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions in compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Pursue ongoing training and professional development activities to stay informed about current developments in the field.
  • Raise awareness about abuse, trauma, and mental health to reduce stigma and advocate for the importance of holistic wellness.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Psychology or Counselling.
  • Preference for candidates specialized in counselling psychology.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational shifts.
  • Typing speed of 30-35 words per minute with 90% accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to empathize with individuals who have experienced abuse or injustice, and provide compassionate support and understanding.
  • Deep understanding of the importance of mental health and well-being, and a commitment to promoting mental health awareness and support.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Structured and conceptual approach to work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
