Nouryon seeks a talented financial professional to support our Plant Controlling function in finance. As a key member of our global team, you will drive positive action every day to achieve higher goals collectively and individually.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cost Management or Financial Management with relevant experience in controlling and accounting processes. You will possess excellent analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and adeptness in using logic.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to provide forward-looking management information for operational and financial effectiveness.
- Supporting the Site Controller in month-end closing and reporting activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Providing guidance on day-to-day finance questions to functional teams to enhance collaboration and productivity.
- Playing a crucial role in transitioning finance and plant controlling activities across key sub-processes to streamline operations.
The successful candidate will be able to:
- Monitor plant productivity and analyze process orders to identify areas for improvement.
- Calculate and report cost prices, execute SAP monthly costing runs, and advise on bills of materials changes to optimize resource allocation.
- Work closely with the accounting team and shared service centers to register financial transactions and clear open GR/IR items to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor budget vs actual capex booking and report budget overruns to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain and monitor site procedures, follow up on internal audits and external financial audits to ensure compliance and risk management.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports and analyses for the Business Unit/functions to support informed decision-making.
