Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building robust data platforms using a variety of Azure services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL concepts. You should also have experience with version control systems like Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps.

As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build data pipelines using Azure services
  • Develop and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data warehouses and data lakes
  • Manage data storage and organization within Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
  • Transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets using tools like dbt
  • Integrate and work with various Azure services to build a comprehensive data solution
  • Implement and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes
  • Implement and maintain data security best practices
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines, queries, and data warehouse solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of proven experience with key Azure data services
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling, and ETL concepts
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
