Job Overview

This is a highly specialized role that requires expertise in designing and implementing storage systems. The Storage Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, planning and implementing data migrations, and providing operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Netapp storage systems, including procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning.
  • Managing disk shelves, adding them to existing storage systems, and configuring and managing vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting and monitoring tools.
  • Providing operational support to the File Serving / NAS Infrastructure, planning and implementing data migrations using Robocopy.
  • Handling Disk, Aggregate, Qtree, Volume issues, checking Storage Critical Events, and being responsible for day-to-day storage tasks and changes and incidents in storage.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp and Hitachi storage systems, strong technical skills, and in-depth understanding of CMODE, CDOT, and fabric switches.
  • Significant experience in software tools from NetApp, including OCUM and OCI.
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS and NFS technologies.

About This Role

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
