Job Description

The Brand Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving business growth by developing and executing strategic brand plans. This involves analyzing market trends, consumer behaviors, and internal business imperatives to conceptualize region-wise volume projections.

  • Analyze market research data and external market study results to inform brand positioning and health.
  • Develop and implement portfolio planning strategies to identify gaps in the current brand portfolio.
  • Lead new product and product extension planning, development, and launch initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of brand plans.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of brand communication, trade, and consumer promotions.
  • Identify opportunities for co-promotion and negotiate contracts with external agencies.
  • Conduct field visits to validate market research findings and gather first-hand consumer insights.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Brand Development Specialist, you should possess:

  • 2-3 years of experience in FMCG Sales (General Trade) or FMCG Brand Roles.
  • Tier 1 MBA Colleges 2021 and 2022 Batches of Marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of brand management principles and statutory compliance related to category products.
