Job Title: Business Manager

Company PointO is a fast-growing, technology-first organization dedicated to sustainable mobility and energy storage transformation across various sectors. As we continue scaling our clean energy initiatives, we are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Business Manager to drive design, costing, and deployment of Battery Energy Storage Systems.


About the Role

This role involves managing the complete sales cycle – prospecting, lead qualification, client engagement, negotiation, and closure. You will map key accounts in C&I and government sectors, maintain pipelines, and ensure accurate reporting. In addition, you will prepare high-quality proposals, tenders, and bids with internal team support.


Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in India's renewable energy and energy storage sectors.
  • Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies aligned with growth and revenue targets.
  • Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Map key accounts and maintain pipelines.
  • Prepare high-quality proposals, tenders, and bids.
  • Provide technical and commercial expertise on hardware, software, and services.
  • Offer market insights particularly for battery solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Energy, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' B2B sales/marketing experience in energy, renewables, or battery storage.
  • Strong understanding of India's power sector policies and regulations.
  • Proven experience in technical sales cycles and strategic marketing.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to travel to multiple locations for client meetings.
