Financial Controller Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to fill this senior position. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and filing of GST returns.
Key Responsibilities:
- GST Filing: Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-2B matching, etc.)
- ITC Claims: Ensure accurate input tax credit claims and reconciliation with books.
- GST Compliance: Monitor GST notices and ensure timely responses and compliance.
- GST Audits: Assist in GST audits and liaise with consultants or statutory auditors.
- Laws and Regulations: Keep abreast of changes in GST laws and implement necessary changes in filing procedures.
- Sales Transactions: Finalize and record sales transactions and related accounting activities.
- B2B Accounts Receivable Reconciliation
- Customer Accounts: Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts against sales, payments, credit notes, and GST filings.
- Outstanding Invoices: Track and follow up on outstanding invoices with the sales and collections teams.
- Mismatches: Reconcile B2B invoices with GSTR-2B/2A for ITC validation.
- Dispute Resolution: Coordinate with internal departments (sales, billing, operations) for dispute resolution.
Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce (B.Com/M.Com/MBA)
Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP Tally
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of GST and Indian Law
