About the Role

We're seeking skilled professionals to join our Governance and Policy team. In this role, you'll

support research, analysis, and policy development, contributing to actionable recommendations.

This position requires keen analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for public sector impact. You'll collaborate with team members to implement governance reforms, evaluate policy initiatives, and advance the team's mission.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Minimum degree from a Tier 1 or 2 academic institution in Social Sciences, Law, Engineering, or related fields
2. Prior experience or demonstrated interest in policy research, governance projects, or political consulting is desirable
3. Strong grasp of India's political landscape and governance structures
4. Proactive attitude, willingness to travel if needed
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills

Key Skills

1. Ability to collect, synthesise, and analyse qualitative and quantitative data for evidence-based governance reforms
2. Proficiency in basic data analysis, reporting, and forming recommendations under guidance
3. Clear and concise writing for policy briefs, reports, presentations, and stakeholder summaries
4. Work effectively with cross-functional teams and support project delivery
5. Foundational understanding of Indian policy systems, political dynamics, and development frameworks

Job Description

In this role, you will conduct background research, gather data, and support preparation of actionable reports for governance and policy reform initiatives. You'll also contribute to drafting policy documents, manifestos, and recommendations under supervision.

You'll assist in preparing presentations, briefs, and analysis summaries for both internal and external audiences. Additionally, you'll keep abreast of political, regulatory, and programmatic developments, introducing best practices and innovations to team processes.

About the Manager Role

We're looking for Project Managers to join our Governance and Policy team. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping state-level manifestos and governance policy recommendations, ensuring alignment with political objectives and stakeholder priorities.

You'll collaborate with leadership and functional teams to align governance reforms with broader strategic goals and facilitate effective implementation. As a manager, you'll lead governance projects and cross-functional teams, monitor progress, troubleshoot risks, and drive timely execution of key initiatives.

You'll engage with government bodies, civil society, and local stakeholders, travelling as necessary to support policy rollout and validate impact on the ground. Your expertise in conducting deep-dive research and analysis will inform governance reforms and develop strategic, actionable policy recommendations.
