Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead our area's financial operations. As an Area Head of Finance, you will be responsible for driving performance improvement and contributing to the delivery of business priorities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes and drive transformative actions in the finance sphere.
  • Align with Area CFO objectives and support finance and business outcomes as a dependable business partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive optimal working capital and liquidity in collaboration with the Area Finance Manager.
  • Develop and maintain efficient processes, challenge the status quo, and strive for automation opportunities.
  • Translate organizational objectives into actionable plans and drive their execution by developing and maintaining an engaged team.
  • Resolve finance issues for the area through partnership and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Accurately complete Books of Accounts as per defined periodicity and timelines for scoped area entities.
  • Perform controllership aspects to ensure accurate reporting of Balance Sheet Exposure, suggest required Accounting Adjustments, and develop plans to mitigate future exposures.
  • Ensure appropriate execution of area internal controls and influence functions to improve Controls scores.
  • Own the conduct of Statutory Audit for scoped entities along with Group Audit, ensuring timely completion, filing, and mitigation of audit observations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Preferred accounting qualification (CA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA).
  • Business partnering skills, including influencing without authority.
  • Effective communication skills (storytelling numbers).
  • Holding others accountable and taking ownership of business outcomes.
  • Executive presence, including contributing to discussions and expressing one's point of view.
  • Leading leaders' ability.
  • At least 10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience with ERP/S4 systems.

  • Timely and quality book closes for both APMM and local statutory.
  • Zero overdue audit points.
  • Reporting of Balance sheet exposures.
  • Control Effectiveness Scores.
  • Working Capital improvement.
  • Zero open Cash/bank items over 30 days.
  • Top quartile engagement score for the team.
  • Achieve Automation and efficiency targets.
  • Successful and timely implementation of new systems and special projects.
