Government Grants Specialist

Are you a business researcher with a knack for crafting compelling government proposals and navigating complex policy frameworks? This cross-functional role is perfect for someone who thrives on writing, building relationships, and turning regulatory insights into growth opportunities.

In this role, you will research and craft award entries backed by strong factual data to maximise winning potential. You will identify, evaluate, and secure sponsorship opportunities that align with our sector goals. Additionally, you will develop persuasive sponsorship proposals and pitch decks for potential partners.

You will also negotiate and manage end-to-end sponsorship agreements while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Moreover, you will maintain relationships with award committees, event organisers, and industry associations. Further, you will track submission deadlines and deliverables for awards and sponsorships.

Furthermore, you will collaborate with internal teams to gather case studies, metrics, and insights that support award nominations and pitches. You will research and track government policies, grants, certifications, and incentive schemes relevant to our sector. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for collaboration or support from government bodies and public institutions.

The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years of relevant experience. A degree in Law, Communications, Public Policy, Marketing, or a related field is required. The candidate should possess strong research, writing, and documentation skills with attention to detail. They should have a proven ability to craft award entries, sponsorship pitches, or government grant applications. Furthermore, they should have an understanding of legal, policy, or regulatory frameworks—especially relating to government programs, sponsorships, and compliance.
