We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to serve as a trusted technical leader, domain-level architect, and mentor across teams.

You will drive technical direction, cross-team execution, and elevate the engineering bar at our company by creating scalable systems, shaping engineering culture, and championing AI-first innovation.

Key Skills:

• Backend Development (Expert): Python, Java, C#, or Golang with strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalable architectures\
• Data & Messaging (Advanced): Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB\
• Cloud Technologies (Proficient): AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Bamboo)\
• System Design & Architecture: Microservices, Domain-driven design, Event-driven architecture, Reusable frameworks, Shared libraries\
• AI & Innovation (Preferred): Adoption of AI accelerators, RAG, LLMs, Vector Databases, AI-first engineering practices\

• Roles and Responsibilities:\

  • Serve as a domain-level architect, defining reusable patterns, frameworks, and best practices across teams.\
  • Lead large-scale, cross-functional engineering initiatives that align technical roadmaps with strategic business outcomes.\
  • Own critical technical decisions across multiple domains, ensuring long-term platform scalability, performance, and reliability.\
  • Champion adoption of observability, testing, security, and quality standards throughout the organization.\
  • Mentor engineers at all levels, fostering technical leadership capacity across the org.\
  • Guide adoption of AI-first practices, enabling teams to leverage AI accelerators, LLMs, and automation to increase efficiency.\
  • Collaborate with product, business, and engineering stakeholders to influence org-wide strategies and architecture reviews.\
  • Provide expert-level guidance on system design, architecture, and development methodologies.\
  • Drive technical decision-making processes across multiple teams and departments.\
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, such as architecture diagrams, system designs, and development guides.\
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the engineering team.\
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.\
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.\
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering.\
  • Stay current with changing technologies and adjust team workflows accordingly.\
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and tools to improve team efficiency and productivity.\
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and adherence to best practices.\
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to enhance team members' skills and knowledge.\

  • Collaborate with other leaders to establish and communicate technical vision and strategy.\
  • Demonstrate expertise in software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.\

  • Represent the engineering team in organizational meetings and discussions.\

  • Lead and participate in hiring efforts to attract top talent to the engineering team.\
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.\
