Global Tax Manager

This is a highly sought-after role that involves working closely with clients to understand their tax requirements and develop strategies to minimize their tax liability.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in direct taxation and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for managing tax advisory engagements, delivering tax opinions, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

  • Managing tax advisory engagements independently with minimal supervision
  • Delivering tax opinions and short notes on day-to-day clients' tax matters
  • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, including filing of tax returns, withholding tax statements, advance tax, and other tax filings
  • Representing clients before tax authorities, including reviewing and drafting responses to audit notices and questionnaires
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in direct taxation
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Analytical skills and conceptual clarity
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
