Interior Design Role

This role is responsible for supporting the lead designer in various capacities.

  • Schedule: Day shift
  • Work Location: In office

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to assist our lead designer with tasks such as taking measurements/photos of projects, creating CAD drawings, researching interior decor and materials, and submitting receipts for all purchases and orders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess strong organizational abilities.

  1. Support the lead designer in completing daily tasks and responsibilities.
  2. Accompany and assist the lead designer during client meetings at job sites and showrooms.
  3. Take detailed notes during meetings and create CAD drawings for client projects.
  4. Research interior decor and materials, providing pricing, availability, stock, etc.
  5. Place orders, purchase materials, pick up and deliver.
  6. Submit receipts for all purchases and orders.
  7. Track and communicate the status of orders; resolve problems.
  8. Maintain spreadsheets with client selections/finish materials.
  9. Schedule appointments for designers, contractors, clients, and vendors.
  10. Respond to client inquiries and concerns; project updates.
  11. Meet with vendors, assist with installations.
  12. Submit detailed hours (billable and non-billable) and mileage log monthly.
  13. Check the daily client spreadsheet for new tasks; update the status of assigned tasks at the end of each day.
