Job Title: OSI PI Engineer

About the Position

This role involves the configuration and maintenance of an industrial process data management system.

The ideal candidate will have experience with OSIsoft PI systems, specifically in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

  • Configuration and Maintenance:
    • Set up and maintain PI Server, PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces for real-time data collection and visualization.
  • Develop AF models, templates, and event frames to store and analyze industrial process data.
  • Design and configure PI Vision dashboards based on user requirements for effective data monitoring and analysis.
  • Integrate data from field devices using standard PI interfaces and connectors for seamless data exchange.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data collection issues and PI system performance for optimal operation.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to understand and fulfill data requirements.
  • Provide technical support, documentation, and user training related to the PI System.
  • Assist in PI System upgrades, patches, and cybersecurity compliance activities to ensure system reliability and security.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electrical) or a related field.
  • Familiarity with PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, SCADA, DCS, PLC Systems, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC).
  • Good knowledge of OPC UA and OPC DA protocol.
  • 2+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI system (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
