Electrical Engineer - Building Management Systems

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing the design, development, and implementation of building management systems.

  • Design and implementation of BMS, chiller plant automation, fire detection, public address, telecom, and security systems for industrial projects.
  • Conceptualize designs at the preliminary stage by understanding project requirements while adhering to relevant codes and standards.
  • Selection of suitable instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm, and security system design.
  • Prepare/review basis of design documents.
  • Detail drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets, and BOQ as per requirement.
  • Evaluate and perform design reviews, participate in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and conduct squad checks on drawings received from other disciplines.
  • Coordinate with the construction team to ensure proper installation as per design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of electrical systems for data centers and industrial projects.
  • Implementation of BMS, chiller plant automation, and fire detection systems.
  • Design and implementation of security systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Hands-on experience with Indian and international codes for design.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination skills.
  • Self-driven with good management and reporting capabilities.
  • Knowledge of 3D engineering and proficiency in reviewing 3D models using Navisworks.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of IS/IEC standards.
