Design Engineer Position

The company is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join its team. The ideal candidate will have experience in design engineering, mechanical engineering, computer-aided design (CAD), electrical engineering, and product design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of general layout (GA) drawings for process equipment
  • Creation of bills of materials (BOMs) for procurement and fabrication
  • Revision of drawings based on manufacturing and customer feedback
  • Creation of 2D and 3D models using CAD tools
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers and manufacturing personnel
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with software such as Auto-CAD and Solid edge
  • Ability to create detailed GA drawings and fabrication drawings
  • Preparation of detailed material take-offs based on drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience of drawing presentation, critical dimensioning, view presentations, and parts list preparation
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes like laser cutting, bending, welding, basic machining
  • Good knowledge and hands-on experience on advance assemblies and layouts with GD&T, surface finishes, welding details, and engineering notes
  • Working knowledge of SAP system (desired)
  • Experience in making GA layouts an advantage
  • At least 1+ years of hands-on experience in Solid edge
  • Quick learner and ability to adapt existing systems
