Procurement Support Specialist

  • About the Role:
  • The Procurement Support Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for Coupa P2P modules, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, supplier management, and expenses.
  • This role involves monitoring system performance and resolving technical and functional issues in a timely manner.
  • Close collaboration with procurement, finance, and IT teams is essential to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • The successful candidate will manage user access, roles, and permissions within Coupa.
  • Supporting integration between Coupa and other enterprise systems is also a key aspect of this role.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features or enhancements.
  • A significant part of this role is documenting support procedures, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
  • Liaising with Coupa support and vendors for issue resolution and product updates is crucial.
  • Maintaining compliance with internal controls and audit requirements is also an important responsibility.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in application support, preferably in Coupa or other P2P systems.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and finance processes is required.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with integration tools (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is beneficial.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is crucial.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coupa certifications or training would be advantageous.
  • Experience with SQL, reporting tools, or data analysis would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices is desirable.
