">This position reports to the Global Technical Support Manager.
">Your Role and Responsibilities
">- You will support the assigned Sales support team and customers during the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of products and technology, final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource.
- You will be responsible for offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications for North America, Canada, LATAM, and Middle East including India.
- You will collaborate with the GTSS Team in other regions to develop best practices/processes.
- You will assist sales organizations during customer encounters, providing technical assistance and clarification as needed.
- You will identify and propose product/tool-related trainings for the sales channel.
- You will generate detailed technical documentation for proposed solutions and document any deviations from requirements.
Qualifications
">- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering is required.
- 3-5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, working as a Design engineer in the field of large induction motors is preferred.
- Solid understanding of ABB products and their applications is essential.
- Knowledge of Motor design programs, Microsoft Office Products, and Salesforce is required.
- Advanced communication, influencing, coaching, and management skills are necessary.
- Fluent English and good communication skills are mandatory.
