Job Overview:
We are seeking a Procurement Professional with expertise in sourcing electronic components, sensors, PCBs, and related hardware for wearable and IoT devices.
- Sourcing electronic components including sensors, PCBs, flex PCBs, ICs, batteries, and other hardware.
- Developing relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers, especially in China, Taiwan, and India.
- Managing RFQs, vendor negotiations, purchase orders, and contract terms to achieve cost efficiency.
- Collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to understand technical requirements.
- Maintaining quality standards, certifications (RoHS, REACH, IEC, BIS, etc.), and regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring inventory levels, lead times, and supply risks.
- Evaluating alternate suppliers to reduce single-source dependency.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and developing cost analysis reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain for electronics or hardware.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, PCBs, and sensors.
- Experience in vendor management and global sourcing (China/East Asia experience preferred).
- Familiarity with import/export procedures, logistics, and customs clearance.
- Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and procurement tools.
