Job Overview

As an IT Service Delivery Specialist at Apollo Global Management, Inc., you will play a key role in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. This includes contributing to content creation to raise awareness about process updates in the Operations space and assisting with the coordination and execution of successful Disaster Recovery exercises. You will provide expertise to maintain and execute Change Management policies and compliance, as well as manage the CMDB with a focus on improving business analyst capabilities. Additionally, you will troubleshoot escalations in a timely manner and analyze incident volume to identify trends and potential problem candidates.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  2. Contribute to content creation to raise awareness about process updates in the Operations space.
  3. Assist with the coordination and execution of successful Disaster Recovery exercises.
  4. Provide expertise to maintain and execute Change Management policies and compliance.
  5. Manage the CMDB with a focus on improving business analyst capabilities.
  6. Troubleshoot escalations in a timely manner.
  7. Analyze incident volume to identify trends and potential problem candidates.
  8. Assist in Major Incident Management, including bridges, postmortem review, and remediations.
  9. Identify trends and evaluate potential resolutions to proactively reduce future occurrences.
  10. Communicate problems and issues to management.
  11. Capable of operating independently, demonstrating logical thinking, and articulating clear thought processes through clear communications.
  12. Manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating scope and timing of deliverables.
  13. Assist in Monthly, Quarterly Audit reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Systems or equivalent.
  2. 3+ years of hands-on experience in 2 or more areas (Change Management, Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Knowledge Management, ITIL, and CMDB).
  3. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong Report-driven analytical and data interpretation skills.
  6. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  7. Self-starter and proactive with the ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Basic knowledge in core enterprise infrastructure.
  9. Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to collaborate with others.
  10. Willing to work outside of business hours when necessary.
