Math Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a highly skilled role that requires advanced knowledge of mathematical principles and concepts, particularly statistics and probability. The ideal candidate will be able to develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze math data.

The key responsibilities of this position include reviewing math formulas and math sheet information, developing and reviewing test plans and scripts for verifying math data, and following all work instructions on a daily basis. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for submitting and tracking any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved, utilizing required databases for quality assurance and testing, and providing input to weekly project status reports.

  • Develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze math data.
  • Review math formulas and math sheet information.
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying math data.
  • Follow all work instructions on a daily basis.
  • Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
  • Utilize required databases for quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide input to weekly project status reports.

Requirements:

  • Advanced understanding of mathematical principles and concepts, particularly statistics and probability.
  • Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
  • Knowledge or experience with C/C++/C# programming.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge or experience with Python or other shell scripting languages.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
