Lead Software Development Team as a Technical Manager

About this Role:

We seek an exceptional Technical Manager to lead our software development team. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with proven leadership skills to drive high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and mentor a team of software developers working on .NET technologies.
  • Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project roadmaps.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
  • Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and recommending improvements in architecture and processes.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Framework to solve complex development challenges.
  • Manage resource allocation, project timelines, and deliverables while ensuring high performance and productivity within the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support professional growth of team members.
  • Act as the technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of software development experience with strong expertise in .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and .NET Framework.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a technical leadership/managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and application frameworks.
  • Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar) and integration with .NET applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with .NET Core/.NET 5+ and modern frameworks.
  • Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React, or Vue.js).
  • Project management experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications in Microsoft .NET technologies or cloud platforms.
