Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leveraging data science and statistics expertise to drive business growth and innovation. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that improve customer experience, increase revenue, and enhance brand reputation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using distributed technologies like PySpark
  • Designing and implementing data visualizations and reports to facilitate business decision-making
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify key trends and opportunities for business growth
  • Researching and implementing new data products or capabilities to stay ahead of the competition
  • Enhancing PulsePoint's data reporting and insights generation capability by publishing internal reports about Health data

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, functions)
  • Knowledge of distributed systems, containerization, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with automation tools like ELT, Tableau, Looker, and PowerBI
  • Ability to organize large data sets to answer critical questions, extrapolate trends, and tell a story
  • Familiarity with health-related data sets and Google Cloud Architecture
