Senior Network Security Engineer Role

This is a highly specialized role that involves designing and implementing network security solutions to meet the organization's needs and future growth.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking technologies including SDWAN, SD Security, SSE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast, and switching.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience with at least 2 of the SSE products - Versa, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, Netskope.

They should also be familiar with cloud service providers (CSPs) such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing network designs that meet the organization's needs and future growth.
  • Providing engineering support for the network infrastructure, including troubleshooting network issues and ensuring network security.
  • Leading network-related projects from conception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Managing a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Developing and implementing network designs that meet the organization's needs and future growth.
  • Assisting in analyzing and responding to RFPs from potential clients.
  • Validating design solutions to ensure they meet customer requirements and are technically feasible.
  • Ensuring network security and troubleshooting network issues.
  • Managing resources, timelines, and deliverables for network-related projects.
Required Skills:
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of networking technologies including SDWAN, SD Security, SSE, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, QoS, Multicast, and switching.
  • Experience in at least 2 of the SSE products - Versa, Palo Alto Prisma, Zscaler, Netskope.
  • Experience in at least 1 of the CSPs - AWS, Azure, GCP.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and driving business results.
