Job Title: Automation Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI/API testing.
  • Maintain high standards of coding practices and guidelines in automation environments.
  • Perform thorough manual testing of web-based applications and services in a client-server setup.
  • Work proactively on both manual and automation testing tasks.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of web architecture and effectively debug web or server errors.
  • Conduct functional, database, sanity, end-to-end integration, and regression testing independently, following industry best practices.
  • Analyze code issues identified during scheduled automation runs and implement fixes accordingly.
  • Identify root causes of script failures and logged bugs through thorough analysis.
  • Track and submit automation-identified defects in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and escalate critical issues and deviations from standard operating procedures (SOPs) promptly.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in automation testing methodologies.
  • Excellent experience in C# programming language.
  • Familiarity with testing web services and Rest APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with service testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
