International VAT Compliance Technology Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled International VAT Compliance Technology Supervisor to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our global indirect tax compliance team, you will be responsible for managing client needs and ensuring compliance with global VAT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client onboarding and ensure seamless integration with our client engagement platform.
  • Assist in managing GVCR compliance calendars and workflows, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Alteryx workflows to streamline data analysis and reporting.
  • Assess data quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Map tax codes and ensure accurate classification.
  • Support technology upgrades and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide real-time insights.
  • Document and maintain GVCR technology procedures and processes.
  • Develop, mentor, and motivate staff level team members, providing timely performance feedback.
  • Provide exceptional client service, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' businesses and identify opportunities for cross-selling.
  • Stay up-to-date with current global indirect tax rules and regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-6 years of full-time VAT/GST experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Previous experience in technology setup and client data integration into indirect tax engines.
  • Experience in developing Alteryx workflows and Power BI dashboards.
  • Strong client relationship-building skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and experience with other team members.
