Enterprise Data Management Solutions for the Maritime and Trade Sector

The Senior Implementation Consultant (Senior Associate) role is part of a team based in India working with stakeholders globally on implementation activities. The team is coached and led by a Senior Managing Consultant, and are trained in using SQL Server and the Markit EDM application.

The key responsibilities of this role include documenting functional and requirement specifications, configuring the Markit EDM application using SQL Server, building MEDM solutions with best practices, testing project deliverables to ensure they meet documented requirements, interacting with clients and colleagues to ensure accurate and timely information flows, making recommendations for implementation of new systems and technologies, and providing consultancy to key stakeholders for business improvements.

Key skills required for this role include a solid understanding of data management products, a broad understanding of the shipping sector, middle-office systems and operations, and associated data management needs. A strong proficiency with SQL statements, designing tables, stored procedures, views, and functions, as well as experience of working within database implementations is also essential.

Preferred qualifications for this role include 4-5 years solution design/development experience, experience of implementing Markit EDM, knowledge of Markit EDM components, and experience of Agile delivery model.
