WordPress & PHP Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress and PHP developer with 3-4 years of experience to join our distributed team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable web solutions using WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins;
  • Build dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery;
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services;
  • Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and scalability;
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure robust, secure, and high-quality applications;
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams ensuring clear and effective communication;
  • Follow best coding practices, maintain code quality, and adhere to project timelines;
  • Use remote collaboration tools efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Professional Experience: 3-4 years in WordPress and PHP development;
  • Custom Theme Development: Expertise in developing custom WordPress themes;
  • PHP Frameworks: Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred);
  • MySQL Database Design: Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and integration;
  • Front-end Development: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap;
  • API Integration: Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services;
  • Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams;
  • SEO & Security: Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards, and website performance optimization.
