Seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing Specialist to join our team and ensure the financial accuracy of our operations by maintaining timely and precise invoicing.

About the Role

This is a key role that involves preparing and issuing invoices to customers, meeting invoice delivery timelines, and entering invoices into customer invoicing websites. You will also be responsible for submitting invoices electronically and ensuring all support and backups are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices to customers with precision and speed.
  • Meet invoice delivery deadlines to maintain good relationships with customers.
  • Enter invoices into customer invoicing systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Submit invoices electronically and track their status.
  • Understand key areas of invoicing specific to different customers and ensure accurate billing.
  • Check each field on the invoices before submission to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference.
  • Work closely with the payroll and invoicing team to accelerate the invoice submission process.
  • Send out statements of accounts to customers regularly.
  • Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets to ensure AR hygiene.
  • Handle invoice rejections and credits/rebills professionally.
  • Maintain SOP/standard guide for complete invoicing process account-wise and update it timely.
  • Provide continuous support for improving platforms for invoicing and provide feedback.
  • Assist credit control in invoicing and collection of payments.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in invoicing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (formulas, V-lookup, Pivot Table).
  • Good analytical and process knowledge.
  • Good accounting knowledge.
