**Legal Support Specialist Role**

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to provide comprehensive support across various business functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and safeguarding organizational interests.

  • Offer expert legal opinions and interpretations on diverse legal matters impacting the business.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts such as software/cloud subscription agreements, implementation and support agreements, and more.
  • Identify and analyze contractual risks, providing recommendations to protect organizational interests and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and regulatory changes, providing proactive counsel to internal teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Arts and Laws (Hons) or LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
  • Post-qualification experience in contract law, preferably in the IT or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial and technology contracts.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills.
