Job Overview:

The Procurement Manager will oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and services for infrastructure projects. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.

  • Develop procurement strategies aligned with project requirements, ensuring alignment between business objectives and resource acquisition.
  • Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers for quality, pricing, and reliability, utilizing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize cost savings, leveraging market intelligence and industry trends.
  • Monitor inventory, logistics, and material delivery schedules, implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Maintain procurement documentation, records, and reports, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the procurement lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company procurement standards, maintaining a robust risk management framework.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to forecast material needs, fostering effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Procurement/Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of procurement experience in construction or infrastructure, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with experience in contract negotiations and relationship building.
  • Knowledge of ERP/procurement software, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Good communication and problem-solving ability, with experience in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
