Infrastructure BIM Expertise

The role of a BIM Manager is crucial in ensuring the success of infrastructure projects. A BIM Manager leads and coordinates BIM processes, focusing on the port sector. The position provides technical coordination support and ensures accurate validation of BIM models.

Key Accountabilities
  • BIM Implementation: Define and oversee the implementation of BIM strategies, standards, and workflows across infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Coordination & Site Support: Support construction supervision activities by coordinating technical aspects of design and execution.
  • Model Management & Validation: Supervise the development, coordination, and validation of BIM models, with particular focus on infrastructure and port projects.
  • Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication among design teams, contractors, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Training and Support: Provide guidance and mentoring to BIM Specialists and Technicians.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct systematic quality reviews of BIM models and project documentation.
Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years experience in BIM management within complex infrastructure projects, preferably port-related.
  • Proven ability to provide technical coordination and support within construction supervision frameworks.
  • Experience in BIM model verification, clash detection, and compliance checks.
  • Strong knowledge of coordination and validation software and infrastructure-focused tools.
  • Proficiency in managing project data using Common Data Environment platforms.
