Job Description:

Seeking a seasoned Financial Director to oversee all financial operations and drive growth. As a key member of our executive team, you'll be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial operations.

  • Own and execute all financial operations, including payroll processing, vendor payouts, and collections.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory compliance requirements, including tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Oversee cash management, including monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support fundraising efforts, including developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience building the finance function from 0-1 for a scaling organization is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to uncertainty and be a generalist.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Prior experience in financial management is an advantage.
