We're seeking a skilled Email Marketing Specialist to enhance our community engagement. This role involves managing websites, updating content, and optimizing SEO.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us and contribute to our mission of creating a just and fair world. As an Email Marketing Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining our websites to ensure they remain fast, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Handling web hosting and domain management for existing and new projects.
  • Improving SEO rankings through regular audits, keyword optimization, and analytics tracking.

In addition to these responsibilities, you'll also design, build, and execute campaigns via email marketing platforms, segment lists by interest, behavior, and engagement, and track and report campaign performance using platform dashboards and Google Analytics.

You'll work closely with our communications and campaign teams to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and align email strategies with broader campaign objectives.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in email marketing or CRM communications, preferably in nonprofits or campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in website management, SEO optimization, and Google Workspace administration.
  • Proficiency with Mailchimp, Mailerlite, ConvertKit, or similar tools.
  • Strong grasp of segmentation, automation, analytics, and deliverability best practices.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and UTM tracking for conversions.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and data privacy regulations.
