Job Title: Senior Backend-Heavy MERN Developer

With 6+ years of experience in backend-heavy MERN development, we are seeking a skilled professional to drive the architecture and development of our services.

  • Own and drive backend architecture and development using Node.js, building scalable, high-performance services.
  • Design, build, and optimize APIs, microservices, and integrations.
  • Work with MongoDB for data modeling, schema design, performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers (React + Vite) to define interfaces, data contracts, and integrate front-backend.
  • Handle deployment, infrastructure, and operations on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.), ensuring high availability, security, logging, scalability.
  • Ensure code quality: tests, code reviews, best practices, documentation.
  • Participate in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and mentor junior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Backend: Deep expertise in Node.js, Express, building and maintaining backend services in production.

Database: Strong experience with MongoDB: schema design, indexing, querying, scaling, performance optimization.

Frontend Collaboration: Comfortable with frontend using React (with Vite), understanding of how backend & frontend interact.

Cloud / Deployment: Strong experience in AWS: setting up environments, deployment pipelines, monitoring, security.

Architecture & Scaling: Experience with microservices, distributed systems, handling high traffic, fault tolerance.
