Job Description

We're seeking a UX Engineer to join our team. As a UX Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and be part of a dynamic team that is shaping the future of cloud security.

About the Role

As a UX Engineer at our company, you will design mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. You will ensure finer details in design principles, concepts, layout, alignment, and visualization. You will take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs. You will gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers. You will illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. You will create original graphic designs (e.g., icons, illustrations, and color palettes). You will conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback. You will adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images. You will creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • Design user experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs to life.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing.
  • Create design systems and style guides.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

To be successful as a UX Engineer, you should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in creating UI/UX design in web and mobile apps.
  • Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Degree/diploma in Design, Fine Arts, Engineering, or related field.
  • Prior experience as a UI/UX Designer and strong portfolio of related projects.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop).
  • Proficient in prototyping tool Figma (or Adobe XD).
  • Basic understanding of web development to validate feasibility of designs.
  • Attention to detail and keen eye for aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly articulate ideas, designs, and suggestions.
  • Strong team player who can collaborate effectively with teams and different stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of design theory, especially principles of logo, graphic/UI design, and usability.
