Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Content Editor to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the field of education, student affairs, and youth trends.

The Senior Content Editor will be responsible for curating and developing engaging content focused on education, careers, innovations, student initiatives, and campus life. This includes collaborating with senior management on content strategy, team performance, and editorial planning.

The selected candidate will also contribute fresh story ideas, support in conducting interviews and field reporting when necessary, and coordinate with designers and digital teams to ensure timely and quality content delivery.

In addition, the Senior Content Editor will lead and mentor a team of writers and interns, ensuring quality and consistency across all content. They will work closely with the editorial team to plan and structure content for our print and web editions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar. They should also have the ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.

Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media platforms is an added advantage. A keen interest in the education system and youth affairs is also essential.

Prior experience in education journalism or content creation for student-centric platforms is preferred. Exposure to multimedia content creation (video/audio/newsletters) will also be considered as an asset.
