Data Analytics Manager

About the Role:

This senior position requires a data analytics expert to lead delivery of AI/ML projects, manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in analytics delivery, with a strong understanding of newsroom operations, CMS platforms and digital monetization models.

A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, data science or related field is required, along with proficiency in Python, SQL and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP.

Experience with Gen AI platforms and LLM-based applications is also necessary, as well as excellent communication, stakeholder management and team leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as a domain expert for news publishing clients, advising on data-driven strategies across editorial planning, newsroom automation and audience analytics.
  2. Lead delivery of AI/ML projects including Gen AI, NLP, personalization, content tagging and recommendation systems.
  3. Manage and mentor cross-functional teams of up to 25 members across onshore and offshore locations.
  4. Collaborate with client stakeholders to define KPIs, use cases and transformation roadmaps.
  5. Drive innovation in real-time analytics, newsroom intelligence and digital content performance.
  6. SUPPORT PRE-SALES, SOLUTIONING AND PROPOSAL DEVELOPMENT FOR MEDIA ANALYTICS ENGAGEMENTS.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering, Data Science, Media Technology or Related Field: Required

8-12 Years of Experience in Analytics Delivery: Required

Strong Understanding of Newsroom Operations, CMS Platforms, Audience Development and Digital Monetization Models: Required

Proficiency in Python, SQL, Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Visualization Tools (Power BI, Tableau): Required

Experience with Gen AI Platforms (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face) and LLM-Based Applications: Required

Excellent Communication, Stakeholder Management and Team Leadership Skills: Required
