Control and Protection Application Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Control and Protection Application Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of control and protection functions for LCC and VSC HVDC schemes.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement control systems for HVDC schemes in MATLAB Simulink and PSCAD simulation environments.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define control system requirements and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of new strategies for control, protection, and sequencing to meet customer needs.
  • Propose process improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of control application teams.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in engineering or a related field, including power systems and power electronics subjects. Strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of urgency are essential for success in this role.

A solid understanding of HVDC control, protection, and sequencing strategies is highly desirable. Experience with PSCAD and MATLAB-SIMULINK simulation tools is also beneficial.
