HVDC Control Systems Specialist

This role is a crucial part of the HVDC Controls & Protection team, responsible for ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project schedules. The successful candidate will lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with clients and develop HVDC system modeling in electromagnetic transient tools like PSCAD, RSCAD, EMTP-RV etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create Factory System Test (FST) cases and review results against design requirements.
- Develop HVDC system modeling in electromagnetic transient tools.
- Prepare control system requirements for the RTDS Lab setup.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) to develop existing and new products and tools.
- Provide support to Commissioning Engineers during Dynamic commissioning at Site.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess an engineering degree or equivalent, including power systems and power electronics subjects. Proven knowledge and experience in HVDC business for 3+ years are essential. Strong communication skills, technical leadership abilities, and fluency in English language are also required.
