Job Opportunity

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure compliance with India’s regulations.
  • Perform timely Customer Knowledge and Verification (CKYC) processes.
  • Support the refresh process by validating PAN details and other sub-processes as required.
  • Stay updated on new regulatory requirements and implement changes promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Banking, Sales, and FLU regions as needed.
  • Work closely with the India Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for guidance on complex cases.
  • Monitor risks and non-compliance impacts on Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, including restrictions and closures.
  • Participate in internal and external audits requiring deep research and investigation skills.
  • Support remediations with tight deadlines.
  • Prepare Management Information Systems (MIS) and control reports and address stakeholder queries.
  • Streamline processes where possible and promote a collaborative culture.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Anti-Money Laundering/ Know Your Customer (AML/KYC).
  • Strong knowledge of India's corporate customer KYC regulations.
  • Preferred: Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) or other relevant certifications.
  • Familiarity with AML Customer Due Diligence (CDD) policy, industry standards, and global legal entities.
  • Initiative to improve processes, self-start behavior, and willingness to help others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
