Fund accounting involves reviewing and understanding key fund organizational documents and operational workflows.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data mapping, data transformation, loading and reconciliation in client platforms.
  • Liaising with stakeholders within projects during implementation phases.
  • Building/enhancing implementation tools for seamless onboarding.
  • Collaborating with technology teams for bespoke reports and special requirements.
  • Managing independent execution of implementation projects.

Requirements:

  • 2-10 years of financial industry experience along with professional certification like CA, MBA, or CFA.
  • Background in private capital markets with strong fund accounting and operations domain expertise.
  • Prior experience in client implementations/onboarding is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of various Private Fund structures, fee calculations, carried interest etc.
  • Expertise in GAV/NAV calculations and overall investor allocations process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel. Knowledge of private equity accounting systems like Investran is a significant plus.
  • A good understanding of financial products.
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet tight timelines.
