Energy Market Expert

As a member of FSX's Energy Practice, you will support research and consulting engagements in fields like biofuels/e-SAF, data center flexibility, grid technologies, and energy policy assessment. Your expertise will contribute to the development of our knowledge base.
This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role offering the opportunity to shape up FSX's energy business from the outset.
Responsibilities:- Support primary and secondary research efforts for ongoing projects. Develop and maintain research models, methodologies, and frameworks.
- Synthesize research findings for client-ready deliverables. Present project analysis to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support FSX leadership in business development activities by contributing to proposals, discovery documents, blogs, and white papers.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, helping cement FSX's position as a trusted advisor in the energy market.
- Support internal ideation, brainstorming, and research efforts for concepts and market validation.
- Degree in a science-related field or economics with 3 - 5 years in the energy sector with experience in either power, oil and gas, or new energies (Hydrogen/CCUS).
- Proven experience as an analyst or consultant preferably in management consulting, market research, or an advisory firm.
- Strong storytelling and quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
