Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journals, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to month-end close activities, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Manage fixed assets (leases and intangibles) accounting and reconciliations.
  • Post bank-related journals, perform reconciliations, and prepare various reports.
  • Support countries in submitting high-quality reporting packs.
  • Eliminate intercompany transactions and process intercompany cost allocations.
  • Prepare intercompany aging reports and circulate them to stakeholders.
  • Collect and create backup for all top-side journals posted.
  • Support external and internal audits with documentation, archive retrieval, and journal walkthroughs.
  • Maintain internal process documentation, reflecting the most up-to-date ways of work.
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are operationalized and consistent with global expectations.

About You:

A successful candidate will achieve seamless execution of R2R and general financial accounting activities. They will have met or exceeded expectations on all R2R metrics and ensured process accuracy.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A semi-qualified accountant (CA Inter, CMA, or ACCA) with 3+ years of experience in multinational company or consulting firm accounting, or a qualified accountant with 1+ years of corporate experience, or a commerce graduate with 5+ years' experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems, with SAP module being a plus.
  • Working knowledge of accounting concepts under IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel working knowledge.
  • PowerPoint experience is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with good listening and communication skills.
