Job Description

Responsibilities

• As an R2R Quality Assurance Specialist, you will manage R2R quality metrics through service level agreements, performance metrics, and continuous governance rhythm.

• Provide technical accounting support for the R2R function and work as a subject matter expert for the team.

• Support various projects related to efficiency, controls, transformation, metrics, and governance within the R2R function.

• Deliver, standardize, and drive efficiency in continuous finance processes in record-to-report, banking, fixed assets, and FinOps accounting processes.

• Manage banking activities quality, audit, and compliance activities.

• Work with Business Finance and Global COE colleagues to maintain best-in-class processes and application of policies.

Accounting Expertise

• Develop and implement procedures and operational ways of work in a standardized, efficient, and effective manner in the realm of the R2R and general financial accounting stream.

• Maintain R2R and general financial accounting related internal controls; ensure robust account reconciliations and SOX compliance.

• Maintain thorough and current understanding of GAAP. Keep abreast of emerging accounting and reporting standards. Support the implementation of new accounting pronouncements as required.

Collaboration and Communication

• Communicate and collaborate routinely with finance colleagues at various levels, providing direction related to key processes and related changes, the sharing of best practices, and keeping them abreast of initiatives that have a global impact.

• Maintain an appropriate system configuration and IT environment to ensure effective and efficient execution of R2R and general financial accounting continuous finance processes.

Requirements

• CA/CMA/CPA qualified

• Over 5 years of relevant professional experience in a medium to large multinational company

• Knowledge of accounting standards is mandatory (US-GAAP and/or IFRS)

• Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements is preferred

• Mandatory working experience with ERPs, reporting, and reconciliation systems (preferably SAP/Blackline)

• Experience in process improvements/automations is preferred

• Experience with project management is preferred

• Problem-solving attitude

• Strong communication skills, team player, leadership traits
